Every quantity shows its math

What would you order for Chili crisp?

You sell about 6 a day. You need 207 for the next 28 days, plus a 56 safety buffer for busier weeks. You already have 208 in stock or on the way, and it comes in cases of 12 at $8.50 a unit. Move the slider to order it yourself.

The suggestion: the fewest full cases that cover 28 days and the buffer. 5 over, because cases come in 12.

Purchase orders Every plan

From forecast to purchase order in full cases.

Start from the suggestions for one supplier. Nothing is created until you open it, and nothing is sent until you check it.

  1. BuildLines fill in from the forecast, rounded to the case size. Lasts after it arrives shows how many weeks each line covers.
  2. ReviewBefore you send, the checks come first: supplier email, ship-to address, delivery date and a cost on every line.
  3. SendEmail it with the PDF and a CSV, download the PDF, or mark it as ordered if you phoned it in.
  4. ReceiveEnter what came in the box. Stock updates in Shopify, and anything still to come stays on the way.

Supplier rules

Your supplier’s rules, built into every order.

Lead times, case packs and minimum orders are saved per supplier, so quantities round to what you can actually order. A product or variant can have its own.

FAQ

Good questions. Plain answers.

Need to talk it through? [email protected]

How do reorder suggestions work?

We use sales history, current stock, stock on order and your supplier settings to calculate a quantity, rounded to full cases. Open a suggestion to see the math, then change the quantity before it goes on a purchase order. See the methods behind the math.

What does “could run out” mean?

The variant could sell out before a new delivery from its supplier could arrive, based on its forecast and the supplier lead time. “Low in a few weeks” lists the ones that come next, with the first date.

Can I change a suggested quantity?

Yes. The quantity moves in steps of the case size. If you change it, we ask why, and your reason stays with the order. You can also add any product to an order, even ones we don’t suggest.

Is anything sent to my supplier automatically?

No. A purchase order is a draft until you review it and press Send. You can also download the PDF, or mark it as ordered without emailing if you phoned or emailed the supplier yourself.

How does receiving work?

Open the order when the delivery lands and enter what came in the box, scan or type a SKU, or mark everything as arrived. Stock updates in Shopify at the location you receive into. Anything still to come stays on the way.

What does the Free plan include?

Forecasts for up to 25 variants at 1 location, with purchase orders and supplier lead times and case packs. It also runs 1 price test at a time. Starter and above forecast your full catalog, and Scale plans across unlimited locations.

Do I need product costs?

Not for forecasts. Quantities come from sales, stock and supplier settings. Order values leave out variants without a cost until you add one.

Can I bring my Stocky data?

You can import saved Stocky report files and supplier spreadsheets. Supplier settings may still need to be entered separately. Read the Stocky export guide.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Starter, Pro and Scale each include a 14-day free trial, billed through Shopify. You can use the Free plan at any time.
